Software ate media, then commerce, then financial services. Physical products are the last frontier. The reason is that making something real has always required a chain of specialists, factories, MOQs, and capital that exists outside software.
Genie is collapsing that chain. An AI that designs the product. A chemistry layer that proves it works. A closed-loop wetlab that prototypes it. A manufacturing graph that produces it. End to end, on demand, one unit at a time if that's what someone wants.

Open roles
Brand · Design
You own the visual identity of a company that wants to feel like the most exciting consumer brand in the world. Brand system, product UI, marketing surfaces, motion, photography direction. You set the bar everything else clears.
Product · Operations
You own the end-to-end customer journey from chat to shipped product. Concierge flows, chemist coordination, contract manufacturer matching, packaging and 3PL handoff. The person who turns the AI output into a real bottle on a real shelf, repeatably.
Engineering
Next.js, TypeScript, Supabase, AWS Bedrock. You ship the chat experience, the formulation engine, the payments path, the admin tooling. Comfortable owning a full vertical and shipping every week. Direct contact with customers from day one.
Science · ML
PhD in computational or physical chemistry, plus deep ML chops. You build the predictive layer that sits between the AI and the bench: GNN-based property prediction, mixture modeling, stability forecasting, retrosynthesis. The long-term moat.
Growth · Engineering
You think in funnels and ship in code. SEO, content pipelines, lifecycle email, landing experiments, paid acquisition tooling. You sit between marketing instinct and engineering execution, and you do not need permission for either.
Hardware · Wetlab
Closed-loop autonomous wetlab. Opentrons Flex integration, protocol automation, robotic handoff between the AI formulator and the bench. This is the bet that turns Genie into the first AI-native manufacturer of physical products.

Small team, clear ownership, no design-by-committee. You own a vertical end-to-end, ship it, watch real users hit it, iterate. Nothing between you and the customer.

Chat-first formulation, multi-model LLMs, computational chemistry, manufacturing automation, robotic wetlab. The kind of cross-layer building you cannot do anywhere else right now.
